Recommended special PVC adhesive suitable for TAMI dog box repairs
These tubes fit into the TAMI repair cartridge and can be safely stowed away there

For all types of repair work on the TAMI dog boxes. This adhesive offers an optimal adhesive solution. The contained solvent mixture dissolves the plastic PVC surface. This leads to a so-called solvent welding bond between the two PVC parts to be joined. The additional ingredients contained in the formula improve dissolving and enable optimized joint filling.

Repair bonding with this special technicoll® adhesive is absolutely waterproof and can even be carried out under water (e.g. inflatable boats and much more)!

This special adhesive belongs to the group of "cold welding agents" and is therefore very well suited for precise bonding

The adhesive has a processing time of 10 - 30 seconds. The initial strength is reached after just a few minutes. Since this is "cold welding", the adhesive parts must be firmly fixed until they have reached their initial strength. Attention: Air and water temperatures below +15 °C can lead to reduced bonding results!

Important: The adhesive must be applied to both surfaces, but in a very thin layer. Technicoll 8002 works on the principle of "cold welding"—meaning the adhesive slightly softens the TPU surface, allowing the materials to bond directly with each other when pressed together. If too much adhesive is applied, a thick layer forms that prevents the two TPU layers from welding together cleanly. A thin, even layer is therefore crucial for achieving maximum strength.

Please do not use solvents for cleaning. Solvents can damage the TPU coating or alter the surface in a way that impairs the effectiveness of the cold-welding bond. Simply cleaning the surface with clear water and a little mild soap, then allowing it to dry completely, is sufficient.

Shelf Life:
At least 3 years when stored in a cool, dry place in the sealed original container. The filling date is embossed on the tube crimp, and this date serves as the official starting point for calculating the minimum shelf life of at least 3 years. The marking on the tube crimp ensures clear traceability and supports proper storage and quality control.
