User Instructions – Special Intermediate Adapter for Seat Belt Extensions
This guide explains how to correctly use the special intermediate adapter to make incompatible seat belt systems compatible again and ensure a secure connection to the TAMI universal seat belt extension.
1. Insert the car seat belt
Insert the vehicle’s seat belt tongue (metal tongue) into the special intermediate adapter.
The adapter acts as a compatibility bridge when the seat belt does not latch directly into the TAMI universal extension.
2. Connect the special adapter to the universal extension
Insert the special intermediate adapter into the universal seat belt extension.
The adapter compensates for different tongue and buckle dimensions, creating a fully compatible connection even when the systems normally do not fit together.
3. Attach the universal extension to the vehicle buckle
Click the universal extension into the vehicle’s seat belt buckle receiver on the rear seat.
4. The final connection is:
Car seat belt → Special Adapter → Universal Extension → Vehicle Buckle
This ensures a stable and secure setup for dog crates or transport carriers, even when the original belt systems were not compatible.
